Several departments ran and downloaded action item reports from an external web application and reconciled these with internal data. A bot now does this work for all departments in a standardized way and only reports actionable data and exceptions.
ENGAGEMENT: Password reset requests for an external tracking system required an administrator to be on the lookout for “urgent” emails all the time. A bot now monitors the ticket system for these requests 24x7, asks the end user for their user id if needed, and resets the password within minutes and without administrator interaction.
ENGAGEMENT: Wire transfers required a staff accountant to constantly monitor email and update several systems when a transfer would come in. The accountant would then notify different groups, dependent on the amount and account used. A bot now looks for emails from a certain sender with a certain subject, downloads wire transfer details from a banking website, updates the accounting system, looks up who to contact and sends the email.
ENGAGEMENT: A very large vendor sends dozens of emails per day with hundreds of case status updates. Employees would copy and paste the information from the email body into a document, remove the irrelevant updates, compare the relevant updates against the data in the internal case management system and prepare a spreadsheet with action items. A bot now performs all these steps several times per day.
ENGAGEMENT: Several systems need to be checked and updated when an employee is terminated to avoid paying for unused licenses or other resources. Accounts need to be disabled for security reasons. For every termination, IT would need to check more than 10 systems to determine whether a user had an account. A bot now notifies different administrators, which one of “their” systems contains user id’s that no longer seem to be necessary.
ENGAGEMENT: Like so many companies, our client had to send almost their entire national workforce remote in March of 2020. We were able to deploy this technology across the entire company in 10 business days while increasing productivity and quality by 25%.
